Dear Nancy & Family,

I'm so sorry for your loss. You are in my prayers.

When I arrived in Tucson in 1976, Ted hired me at American Savings, my first job in Tucson. From that time forward, I was fortunate enough to work with Ted for over 21 years. I considered him my friend and mentor. He was always there guiding me in my mortgage career.

Ted always had a great sense of humor, was so generous and loved to talk. Outside of his family, the Savings and Loan industry was his life and he always strived for excellence. He will be greatly missed.

I met Ted in 1986 when he was my boss's boss...then he was a Pinetop buddy...and ultimately he was a good friend. Boyd and I truly enjoyed his company and all the fun conversations that started with: "Say....did you hear about...". We shared a lot of laughter and joy over the years and will always be grateful for his kindness and generosity. We were sad at his passing, but know that he's cheering for U of A from the best seat in the house. We'll miss you Ted and will keep Nancy in our thoughts and prayers.

Growing up I knew Ted Kinart as the father of my classmate Julie and the man who helped my parents at the bank. Over the past decade I've been fortunate enough to know him
as a father and law and dear friend. His homespun stories about all the characters he met through the years will live on in my heart. so will all the great times we had in Arizona and those adventure filled fishing trips in Washington and Alaska! "But anyway". rest in peace Ted

Nancy, I knew Ted as Dick's big brother all through school. Who would guess that our son would marry Julie, his daughter. We honor how you and Ted accepted us as Julie's husband's parents. Ted had stories to tell and we will miss hearing them. His ability to recall details of his years in Washougal was astounding and usually hilarious. We are holding all of you in our hearts and prayers. Gus and Sandy

Ted was not only my husband for almost 20 years but my friend for almost 40 years. I remember when we first started to date and I was so pleased when he introduced me as his best friend. Marrying Ted also gave me four wonderful children whom we love so much. He was well respected in our industry and mentored so many and many of those became his friends for life. He will be missed.
Thank you Gary Smith what a wonderful tribute.
