STEPHEN "STEVE" EDWARD CAMPBELL
May 21, 1945 ~ September 29, 2017

Steve Campbell of Castle Rock, Washington, and a long-time resident of Clark County, passed away September 29, 2017, in Appleton, Washington. He graduated from Evergreen High School and Mt. Hood Community College. Steve worked at Jantzen Knitting Mills, George Schmid Excavating, and The Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife. He is survived by his: wife, Elaine, of 53 years; son, Glen; daughter, Angie; 7 grandkids; 5 great-grandkids; brother, Ron; numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. He was preceded by his: son, Troy; and parents, Frank Jr. and Marguerite. He attended Brush Prairie Baptist, Felida Baptist, Proebstel Evangelical Free and Castle Rock Christian Church.
Viewing to be held at Layne's Funeral Home in Battle Ground on Friday, October 6, 2017, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. A graveside service, open to all, will be held Saturday, October 7, 2017, at 2p.m. at Brush Prairie Cemetery, 11395 NE 117th Ave. A reception, open to all, will be held following the graveside service at Proebstel Evangelical Free Church, 18702 NE Fourth Plain Blvd. 98682. Donations can be made to Samaritan's Purse.
