STEPHEN DOUGLAS WRIGHT
April 2, 1956 ~ November 8, 2017
Steve lost his courageous battle with cancer on November 8, 2017. He fought so long and so hard for over six years. He was a champ to do so and remained positive until the end. He was born April 2, 1956, in Coos Bay, OR to Earl and Mary Wright.
Steve graduated from Beaverton High School, in Beaverton, OR. He worked for the Xerox Corporation for 15 years and the Salishan Golf Course for 3 years.
He loved the outdoors and enjoyed charity golf tournaments, fishing, hunting, and barbecuing ~ He was great at BBQ's!! He also enjoyed spending time at his Gleneden Beach, OR house with dear friends and putting on firework shows on the 4th of July.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Karen (Quella); daughter Jenna Rodriguez; sister Cheryl Donahue; brother Robert Wright; nephews Brendan and Brady Donahue; and niece Sandra Quella.
Special thanks to his friends, from Gleneden Beach, and Karen's friends, Erin, Chrissy and Linda.
Service will be held, Monday, November 20, 2017, at 12:30 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, 1101 NE 112th Ave., Vancouver, WA.
