We were saddened to hear of Sharon's passing. She was nearly 10 years older than me but when we all lived in Vancouver when she was a teenager and I was in elementary school, she was always happy to have me come hang out with her in her room when we visited. I always felt special around Sharon. We also appreciated she and Mel opening their home to us for a few weeks while we waited for our apartment in Portland to open up in the late 80's.
