RYAN LEAMON CHERRY
January 26, 1982 ~ May 3, 2012
Ryan was a happy person with a positive attitude toward life and he will be missed by all who knew him.
Ryan Leamon Cherry of Vancouver, WA, passed away peacefully on May 3, 2012 at the age of 30. He was born Jan. 26, 1982 in Vancouver and grew up in Battle Ground, graduating from Battle Ground High School in 2000.
He worked for a time after high school before going into the U.S. Air Force.
Upon returning to this area, he worked in Portland, OR and pursued a degree in Chemistry attending Clark College.
Ryan was currently working at Oregon Steel Mills/Evraz where he was being considered for a position as a non- destructive metal analysis technician.
Ryan loved spending time with his family, camping, road trips, riding motorcycles, snowboarding, and working out at the gym. He was a talented musician and loved singing karaoke.
Ryan is survived by his grandfather, Francis "Buck" Luke of Georgia; his parents, Roger and Pat Cherry of Battle Ground; his sister, Kimberly (Bryan) Rice of Colorado; his sister, Melissa (Sarah James) Cherry of Vancouver; two nieces, Treva Brynn and Emma Anne Rice of Colorado; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He was in a long term relationship with Jenna Tuttle of Vancouver.
Ryan's remembrance will be a potluck at 2:00 p.m., June 9 at 2481 Hillhurst Road, Ridgefield, WA. Beverages will be provided. Parking will be at Ridgefield High School.
