RUTH "RUTHIE" MCCLELLAN
July 18, 1946 ~ June 18, 2016
Ruthie McClellan was born Ruth Nolen on July 18, 1946 in Charleston, WV and passed away June 18, 2016 in Vancouver, WA. She is survived by her spouse of 50 years, James McClellan and two cats and two dogs.
A classy lady who never made enemies, Ruthie was preceded in death by her parents, James Nolen and Pearl Nolen. She retired as an Engineer from Qwest Telephone Co., and was a long time member of Northwest Corvette Assn., and Telephone Pioneers. Ruthie's hobbies included wine, clothing, jewelry, partying, boating and travel.

Jim, sorry to hear about your wife of 50 years young its never a heart break until it happens. I never met Ruthie but maybe years ago when you had your Olds 442 and I kinda remember she like to laugh which is good for the soul. May she rest in peace my condolences from me and my family at this time of grief. God Bless

Ruth and I attended 4 years of grade school and high school together. I attended she and Jim's wedding and they lived near me for a short time after they married. We did not see each other as much over the years, usually at our class reunions every 5 years. She was a very nice person, fun to be with. She will be missed by all who new her. Love, Rita

Having moved to SoCal in 2000, we haven't kept in touch but the shock of Ruthie's death definitely dims the beauty of the NW. Hugs to you,Jim, Claudia & Terry OLexey

Ruthie was truly a beautiful women inside and out. She always had a smile on her face and kindness in her heart. Rest in peace Ruthie.
