ROBERT RENE CHARRON

Robert Rene Charron, 83, of Vancouver, WA, passed away on Aug. 10, 2012. He was born April 27, 1929 in Royal Oak, MI.
Robert was married to Joyce Diane Duvall, October 22, 1948 in Seattle, WA.
Robert was a former Marine and enjoyed a 40-year career with Pan American Airways. Culminating his tenure with Pan Am as Director of Maintenance, Robert's assignments spanned four states, Brazil and Guam.
An accomplished pilot and great story teller, he loved to fly and travel and leaves behind a lot of friends.
Robert is dearly loved and will be missed by his wife of 63 years, Joyce; daughter, Louise Shoffner and husband, Jim; son, Robert Jr. and wife, Kim; son, David and wife, Lisa; son, Steven and wife, Debbie; son, Brian and wife, Julie; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Wed., Aug. 15 at 2:00 p.m. at Northwood Park Funeral Home in Ridgefield, WA.
