Dear Sherry and Family,
I learned about your loss today from my dad, Al Bauer. Your family spent countless hours helping in Dad's campaigns for re-election and it was truly a privilege getting to know you. Phil was a wonderful man, and we are deeply saddened.

Phil will be greatly missed in this community, for sure. His regional and state contributions are many; but our fondest memories are of a man who spent hours on the soccer sidelines, cheering and encouraging youngsters. His positive role model and kindness leave a void in the community. God bless and keep him and comfort his family.

My Dear Sherry and Family,
It is with great sadness that I learned of Phil's passing. In 40 yrs of political activity, I have never met more dedicated, genuine, kind & decent people as Sherry and Phil. I was made to feel welcome and valued. There was always a smile and a hug for me. I have tears, feeling the loss of this great man, remembering as I write. Dear Sherry, If there is ANYTHING I can do please call on me, now or in the future.
My love to you, June Gassaway 694-3922

Today, the State Transportation Commission is meeting in Pullman - our first meeting without our dear friend Philip. We had a moment of silence in his honor and shared memories of our time together. We miss you Philip. Life will not be the same without you.
