PAMELA KATHLEEN EGGLESTON
July 10, 1946 ~ September 16, 2017

Pamela Kathleen Eggleston (nee Ronan), age 71 of Vancouver, WA, passed away on September 16, 2017. She was born July 10, 1946 in Fort Lewis, WA, the daughter of Lt. Col. Charles Edward Ronan and Leta "Penny" Irene Pence.
Growing up with a father in the army took Pam from Fort Lewis to Columbus, IN, Austria, Ft. Carson, CO, Turkey, and Reno, NV, graduating from Bishop Manogue High School in 1964, before starting college at Oregon State University. Throughout her education Pam held many leadership positions, was a top notch event coordinator, and was always a natural at making friends.
Pam spent 46 years working in the insurance industry for Aetna, Fred S. James, Sedgwick, Marsh & McLennan, and Woodruff-Sawyer & Co. Not only did Pam find her career in insurance, but she also built lifelong friendships each step of the way.
Pam was active in the Assistance League of SW Washington for 15 years, dedicated to helping women and children in SW Washington communities. In addition Pam could often be seen lending a hand at St. Joseph Catholic School fundraising activities.
Memories of Pam shared by family and friends include her amazing popcorn, yummy macaroni salad, personalized advent calendars for her 5 grandchildren, Christmas cereal give away (ask the grandchildren), laughing so hard that tears ran down her legs, a strong belief that a party without a game isn't as much fun, and, above all else, a loyalty to those she deeply cared for and her greatest pleasure in life - spending time with sons Ronan and Grant.
Pam is survived by her son Ronan Eggleston and wife Shari, grandson Jack and granddaughters Drew and Paige of Camas, WA; her son Grant Eggleston and wife Samantha, granddaughter Riley and grandson Ronan of Sherwood, OR; her younger brother Tom Ronan and his wife Bonnie of Everett, WA, and their two daughters Katie of Phoenix, AZ and Kelly of Seattle, WA; sister-in-law Risa Ronan and her daughters Allison and Heather of Sparks, NV; nephew Brian Ronan and family from Elko, MN; and her beloved Uncle Gerald Ronan of Torrance, CA and Aunt Helen Pike of Janesville, WI.
She is preceded in death by older brothers Michael and Terry, both of Sparks, NV.
A mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Vancouver, WA on October 12, 2017 at 11:00 a.m., followed by a Celebration of Life in Marian Hall. In lieu of flowers, Pam's family encourages friends to consider making a contribution to the Assistance League of SW Washington (https://www.assistanceleague.org/southwest-washington/).
