Nola E. Bowers, 73, of Vancouver, WA died Tues., Jan. 24, 2012 at Ray Hickey Hospice House. She was born Aug. 15, 1938 in Chicago, IL to Elmer and Viola Bowers.
For 32 years, Nola has been a proud member of Alcoholics Anonymous, both as a loving sponsor and mentor to many. She had many interests, from crocheting to reading and volunteer work, but mostly being with friends.
Nola is survived by her sisters, Nancy Kempthorne and Debra Rybacki; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Viola; and brother, John.
A memorial service for Nola will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thurs., Feb. 2nd at the Hamilton-Mylan Funeral Home, 302 W. 11th St., Vancouver, WA.
