MICHON ROSE (THEIS) WASSER
November 23, 1959 ~ February 21, 2017

The world lost a beautiful soul on February 21, 2017. Michon Rose Wasser was born in Vancouver, WA on November 23, 1959 to Tom and Mary Ann Theis. She is the second child of six children. She graduated from Hudson's Bay High School in 1977.
At 21, she began working for the law firm of Mr. Baumgartner as a paralegal. She stayed with his firm for 36 years earning a professional showcase through Cambridge Who's Who write up for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in her long career.
Michon was always the life of the party with a kind soul. She loved golfing with friends and the sunshine, especially in Mexico where she spent many a vacation. She has many friends that have remained close for well over 20 plus years. Her house was the place the family would gather at for Christmas Eve and many other family get togethers: birthdays, family reunions, a wedding, and wedding showers. She married Stephen Wasser, the love of her life, on November 30, 1991. Eventually, they had their daughter Jessica Wasser, 19, who they loved 'to the moon and back' infinity. Michon loved her family with a passion. We will miss our Friday night game nights at mom's house. Michon was an avid reader, huge Seahawks fan, loved boating and going to plays.
Michon has gone to be with her husband, Stephen; and father, Thomas Theis, who preceded her in death; as well as both sets of grandparents and her mother-in-law, Betty. She is survived by her daughter, Jessica; mother, Mary Ann (Dick) Cantonwine; her in-laws, Marv (Penny) Wasser; two sisters, Michelle Burke and Melissa Theis; three brothers, Jeff (Vicki), Greg (Dondi), and Nik (Eirian) Theis. She leaves behind many nieces and nephews: Heather, Gregor (Caitlin), Michael (Camille), Austin, Matthew, Tucker, Carson, Ryan (Tanya), and Chris; as well as many cousins and friends. She will miss the birth of her great-niece and great-nephew later this spring. Although Stephen and Michon Wasser's time was too short, they will always watch over their beautiful girl Jessica from above.
Please join us at her memorial service on March 18 at Evergreen Memorial Gardens at 10 a.m. followed by a Celebration of Life at the Water Resource Center.
