"He was a wonderful husband and father
and will be greatly missed."

To The Hansen Family,
We have been a renter for Marvin since 2000 and we were really sad to hear of his passing. He was really a great person to have known. I could always count on him to be there if anything needed to be addressed with his homes. Marvin would always come with Virginia and we felt as if they were just part of the family. Marvin you will be greatly missed.

To the Hansen Family--Marvin and I lived in the same area during our high school years. We rode the same bus and attended Elmira High together. I was one grade ahead of him. I remember those times well and when I think of Marvin I'll be remembering those days. My condolences to the Hansen family.

Virginia and Family,
My Family and Our church continue to pray for comfort and direction for you all, and truly share our love and condolences. Marvin was the man I trusted and went to for advice. I met him and Virginia in our church and got to know him better when he volunteered to help me with my house repairs in 2002. We became close ever since. Although marvin was quite older than I, our spirits were the same age. Thank you for all you did for my family. Thank you for the talks we had,for the prayers we shared, for allowing me to take you to your appointments, and showing us what true kindness is. I love you and miss you, my friend. You made me feel like your grandson. I'll never forget what you taught me, and I will try to 'pay it forward' to the next one that "needs a hand up, not a hand out".
Sincerely,
Patrick, Jenny, and Asheley Hicks

To the Hansen Family. I worked with Marv at First Interstate Bank. I was the Loan Servicing Manager and worked closely with Marvin on many of our Real Estate Loan Assets. He was a credit to his profession and will be missed. He will remain in our prayers and our deepest sympathy to all the family members.

Dear Virginia and family:
Having worked with "Marv" at First Interstate/Wells Fargo for many years I consider him not only a valued co-worker, but also a good friend. He could always be counted on to give his opinion on dealing with a difficult property and would carry though on any assignment.
He took me fishing at the mouth of Columbia River, and I felt very safe as crossed the perilous bar. However, he didn't tell me we would be crossing back into Oregon waters and I had bought a Washington fishing license. I landed a prize salmon only be pulled over by an Oregon game warden. Only then did Marv realize I had the wrong license. A ticket was issued, but later dismissed by the judge after I purchased an Oregon license.
Mary and I extend our sincere condolences to you and the family, Virginia at the time of your loss. We pray that your faith in our Lord, Jesus Christ and His gift of the resurrection will sustain you at this time.
Kind Regards,
Lloyd Randall

Our sympathy to you Virginia, Doug, Ken & families. I find it hard to believe that my cousin Marvin is gone. Just seems like he should be showing up in MN at a family function like he did so many times. Marvin was the "leader of the pack" of us "Seablom" cousins. Mick & I would so love to be at the service to honor the life of Our Marvin! Our hearts will be there.

My condolences to the Hansen family of Mrs. Hansen, Doug, and Ken(neth). Being Doug's friend it was an honor to get to know the the Hansen family. Mr. Hansen has always been kind not only to myself, but my family as well. Along with Doug, Mr. Hansen spurred my interest in coin collecting. Also, I remember the couple of times I went fishing with Mr. Hansen and his family. I always thought Mr. Hansen was a professional fisherman by the way he fished. Through the way Doug and Kenneth fished I see he taught them well.
More importantly, Mr. and Mrs. Hansen guided, and taught both Doug and Kenneth to be the upstanding young men they are today.
Mr. Hansen you will be missed, and always remembered. THANK YOU
