Lavella May Brumitt, 96, of Vancouver, WA, passed away on Nov. 26, 2015. She was born Nov. 16, 1919 in Wichita, KS to Frank and Ellen Bazzel.
Lavella was a member of the Moose Lodge and VFW. She enjoyed dancing and playing Bingo.
Lavella is survived by her nine children, Shirley Stice, Frank Brumitt (Janice), Vern Brumitt, Sharon Dieter (Dale), Barbara Williams, Cindy Bowers (Mike), Gary Brumitt (Jeanette), and Steve Brumitt (Leslie), and Ronnie Bazzel; 27 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren; and 31 great-great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life for Lavella will be held on Fri., Dec. 4th at 11:30 a.m. at the Vancouver Moose Lodge, 11018 NE 18th St., Vancouver, WA 98684.

My heart is saddened by the loss of you Lavella, especially so close to the holidays! I'm very thankful that you got to meet my granddaughter Mya, you will be truly missed by all!!! My deepest sympathy go out to the Brumitts for their great loss and to all friends you've made along the way Grandma! God Bless you and welcome you through the pearly gates, and may you dance once again with Grandpa!
