KAM UYEJI
May 21, 1921 ~ June 12, 2018
Kam Uyeji, born in Seattle, WA on May 21, 1921 and passed away peacefully at home on June 12, 2018.
After his Japanese internment during WWII, Kam settled in Spokane where he married Fumi and raised his family. Kam owned a truck farm in the Hangman Valley where a number of Japanese families farmed.
After retiring from farming, he started a second career working for what was Washington Water Power.
In his spare time, Kam liked to fish and bowl. He enjoyed playing golf which he started playing after his WWP retirement in his late 60s and watching the Mariners and EPL soccer.
Kam is survived by his son, Les Uyeji of Vancouver, WA and daughter, Cheryl Uyeji of Seattle.
