I first met her when I was hired at PTI. She made me feel like we had been friends for ever. What a beautiful and wonderful person she was.

I've known Juanita for nearly 20 years. The times at PTI were the absolute best. She was our best recruiter named the "Recruiting Machine" by Steve Robinson. We all had a wonderful time together and enjoyed Juanita a lot. I will miss her.

I have been here at CenturyTel, previously Pacific Telecom, for 16 years. I have shared quips with Juanita over the years. I really appreciated Juanita's positive countenance. At the last formal PTI Holiday Party I was able to coax a reluctant Juanita out onto the dance floor. I was one of the over 40 crowd to have braces on at the same time. Somewhere I have a picture of Juanita, Charlene, Barbara and I with a 'toothy smile' showing off our 'beautiful' braces! I will miss Juanita, but I will always treasure her beautiful smile!

To Michelle and Eddie,
Although it has been a very long time since we have seen each other I remember the good times that we had as kids running between your house and mine on Woodward Street in Topeka. Aunt Nita was a very loving and caring person and I know that she will be truly missed by her family and friends. Keep your faith in the Lord because he will continue to provide you strength through your time of sorrow.
Remember that your friends in Topeka, KS have you in their thoughts and prayers.
