JOHN PARK ADAMS, JR.
December 22, 1944 ~ June 12, 2010
John Park Adams Jr. of Vancouver, WA, was called home on Sat., June 12, with his family and friends at his side to see him off. He was 65 years young. Born on December 22, 1944 in Pomona, CA to John and Elnora Adams, he was one of three children.
John was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and was sealed for time and all eternity on April 9, 2005 in the Portland Temple to his wife, Troy Mae.
John loved seeing his children succeed, spending time at the beach, genealogy, and classical music.
He had an unlimited supply of corny jokes
and one-liners that could make anyone smile
and he would go out of his way to help family and friends.
John is survived by his wife; seven children; five step-children, twenty-one grandchildren; and his brother.
Memorial services will be held on Mon., June 21 at 1:30 p.m. in Vancouver at 13600 SE McGillivary Blvd.

Dad, two of your friends recognized me as your son and introduced themselves to me yesterday. Everyone loves and misses you so much. Sofia said she sees you sometimes in the house. She knows it's you because she sees your eyes, and you have glasses on them.

He will be missed not only by his kids and grandkids but by many. He touched the lives of so many people and if you had the chance to spend time with him, it would be something you would never forget. When he spoke he had your full attention, you couldn't help but listen and want more. Our prayers go out to his wife, Troy and to all his kids and grandkids. Know that he is with the Angels and will always be watching over all of you with a Smile on his face. Pam and John Helm

We are so sorry of the passing Of John. We really enjoyed his visits to the Family History Center. When he would come in, it was like a spirit of smiles would follow him. A joke and words to follow was his wonderful personality. We will all miss him and thank him for sharing so many good things with us all. To his darling wife and his children we send our love and thoughts. May you be comforted by knowing that John was and always will be loved and remembered by us all. If there is anything you need just let us know and we will be there for you.
