Be motion John be motion John and Dreda would come overt too the beach house and we would sit around the fire. We would hang tin cans in the trees and target practice with the bb guns. when we would stand too long it would get dark because of the motion lights. Dreda would call out be motion John be motion. the lights would come back on . John was our light. Love you John.

You have been in my life for my whole life. You were funny always tried to make me laugh by saying funny things or your jokes. I was always excited to hear that you and Aunt Dreda were coming to the family functions. I remember going to the beach with you and Aunt Dreda during the summers. It was fun and we all had a blast. I remember when you brought me down to the bank and we saw the blue herons and you were telling me about all the animals that lived around there and all the facts about them. You will always be remembered here in my house, you were and are a great person Uncle John. Thank you for being in my life and being a such a cool and laid back great uncle that you are to me. I will miss you and love you a lot. The family will be fine. I love you and rest peacefully until we meet again.

You taught me patience, love and kindness. And I am so grateful for the time we shared together. I am honored to have had you in my life and to have you trust me to be your 'babysitter.' You made me laugh when I didn't see a reason for laughter and I thank you for that gift. You will always have a special place in my heart.
I made you a promise in those final hours.... I will always do my very best to honor it.
Love you.
