JOHN H. JOHNSON John H. Johnson, age 61, passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2005 in Vancouver, WA. A longtime resident of Battle Ground, WA, he is survived by his wife of 39 years, Frances of Battle Ground; two sons, Dean and John, both of Vancouver, WA; and five grandchildren. He was born on September 28, 1944 in Portland, OR and attended Hillsboro High School and later attended Lower Columbia Basin College in Pasco, WA. After retiring from Darigold as a milk driver, John devoted his time to his family and his hobbies which included hunting, photography, playing pool, camping and gardening. He was also a member of the US Jaycees, the Moose and the Elks. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2005 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Hamilton-Mylan Funeral Home. The family has requested memorial donations be made to the John H. Johnson Memorial Fund in care of any Washington Mutual Savings Bank. Hamilton-Mylan Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Fran, John and Dean,
A cut hand while cutting firewood and the need of a cloth diaper to wrap it. The beginning of a friendship and realized that we were darn near neighbors. I have thought about your family so many times over the years after we lost touch with each other.
