JEANETTE (JAN) BETH SEEBERG
October 7, 1936 ~ February 21, 2015
Jeanette (Jan) Beth Seeberg, 78, entered into eternal peace with her Savior on Saturday, February 21, 2015. Jan was born in Portland, Oregon on October 7, 1936 to the late Ralph and Verna (Darnielle) Johnson.
She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her devoted husband, partner, and soul mate of 41 years, Stan; son Robert (Diana); grandchildren Alia (Scott) and Toby; great-grandchildren Alex, Cayla, Dakota, and Andrew; and cousin Vickie (Len).
Jan graduated from Washington High School in Portland and attended Oregon State University and the University of Portland. She lived for many years in The Dalles, OR and in southern California before moving home to Vancouver, WA. Jan worked in a variety of administrative and office management positions including those with the City of Portland and with KGW-8 TV. Jan was a pioneering woman working for eight years as a salesperson in the aerospace industry in California; she was often in the million dollar sales club as lead salesperson. She retired in 1993 after serving ten years as Director of Religious Education at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish School in Vancouver, WA.
Jan lived life to the fullest, savoring and cherishing every moment. She was very people-oriented and always delightfully curious about the world and universe around her. Her compassion and caring for people resulted in her setting many souls on their path to the Lord. She was a positive and joyful spirit that inspired everyone who was fortunate enough to cross her path.
Services will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Parish; 4723 NW Franklin St., Vancouver: Rosary 10:00 a.m.; Mass 11:00 a.m.; Celebration of Life luncheon 12:00 p.m.
The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the Kaiser Permanente doctors and staff, and the Fort Vancouver Convalescent Center staff for their exceptional and compassionate care of Jan.

My dearest Jan, we met through Paul in Gold token. that was the best thing that could have ever happened, it was the match that was like no other thing. When we met it was like we had known eachother for years. The beautiful stories you told me were everlasting. I hope you met with Jesus as you entered the glorious gates and discussed the things that we spoke about. You will be forever missed but I do know you are where you have been wanting to be for a long time.. You will always be in my heart forever.

I'm from Australia and met Jan (and Stan) through playing games on Goldtoken. I knew Jan for many years and how time seems to just get away. Jan will be in the thoughts forever of many friends she made and I consider myself privileged to have known Jan and spent time getting to know such a wonderful lady and the memories associated with her.

I will miss Jan for the rest of my life. But time will come when I can embrace her again and listen to all she knows, by then more so than what she did, and that is a magnitude. Jan was a giant. I loved her as a son. I was blessed to have had her in my life. Until then, the world is a less interesting place without her. But the cosmos is where she has returned. She knew she would. She told me so. That is all the reason I need to know it to be true.
