JANETTE MARIE HERMANCE
July 6, 1959 ~ October 20, 2017

Janette Marie Hermance passed away on Friday, October 20, 2017 in Ocean Park, WA. She was born in Vancouver, WA on July 6, 1959 to Ronald J. Olbrich and Marjorie L. Shiluk. Janette and her seven siblings grew up in a military family, and got to live and experience many places around the United States. She graduated in 1978 from Washougal High School in Washougal, WA where she continued to live, work, and raise her grandchildren.
Janette had an amazing love for her family, friends, and animals. She was known for her gardening talents, as she enjoyed landscaping and flowers. She also enjoyed the beach, fishing, crabbing, and traveling with her husband, family and friends.
Janette is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Steve Hermance; step-son, Scott (Susan) Hermance; grandchildren, Kristen Hermance and Corey Hermance; step-mother, Kay (Chuck) Day; siblings, Victoria (Sandy Winters) Finch, Tom Finch, Nina (Ivan) Olbrich, Dave (Patrice) Shiluk, Ted (Diana) Shiluk, Bill Shiluk and Gaelyn Shiluk, Steve Shiluk; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Ronald Julius Olbrich; and mother, Marjorie Louise Shiluk.
A service will be held in her honor at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, 1101 NE 112th Ave., Vancouver, WA 98684.
