In addition to his love of football and baseball, Jim enjoyed playing and watching golf. He also loved fishing and was a life-time member of the Kalama Sportsmen's Club.

Jim is survived by his sister, Janet Lucke and her husband, Bob Lucke; nephew, Bryan Lucke; niece, Kristen (Blondie) Nein and her husband, Preston Nein; grandniece, Lena Nein; and grandnephews, William and Kellen Nein. Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Ruth; and his brothers, Roger and Jerry.
