JAMES "JIM" CREAGAN
April 9th, 1939 ~ August 11th, 2016
"His sideways sense of humor and readiness to
laugh will live on in our memories."
Jim Creagan, 77, passed away on August 11th at his home in Meadow Glade with his family at his side. We will miss him deeply. He was our charismatic leader, making friends easily and everywhere he went. Jim grew up in and around Clark County, WA. He played football and ran track at Ridgefield High School.
Jim served his country in the U.S. Army, mostly at White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico.
He raised his children here and was very active in all of their sports activities, coaching little league baseball for many years. He was on the board and instrumental in obtaining the property and moving Glenwood Little League to where it stands today.
Jim was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying his hunting and fishing trips around Mt. St. Helens best and spent several years on the NW Drag Racing scene, having success and many good times.
He owned and operated Creagan Egg Farm for many years. He taught all of his children the meaning of hard work and how to achieve their goals. Jim retired after working several years in construction and excavation.
Jim is survived by his children: David (Brenda), Jimmy, Erin, Jeff (Jeanette), Mary Sorenson (Scott), and Sean (Jessica); his former, wife Nita; good friend and former son-in-law, Mike Frank; one brother, David L. Creagan; fifteen grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Our family would like to thank all the beautiful people at Grandpa's Place Assisted Living in Meadow Glade for the love and care they gave Jim and our family.

He was a good man and he was funny, I remember my first chicken hauling experience and him showing me how to carry the chicken. He showed me many times as I freaked out and let them go. He laughed and laughed. My thoughts and prayers are with you all sorry I missed his service. Love you all

I was so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. He was such a wonderful family man and you were all truly blessed to have such a fun-loving, caring, devoted man for a father. I was privileged to have spent so much time with your family. May God bless you and keep you all in His loving care during this difficult time.

So sorry for your loss. I will always remember be welcomed in your home. Great time spent hanging out playing basketball and baseball with the boys. Eating "not quite ripe grapes from the back yard." Seems like a lifetime ago now...May your memories stay strong of his guiding force.
