IVAN LOWELL BELYEA
September 3, 1938 ~ January 13, 2015
Ivan Lowell Belyea passed away on Jan. 13, 2015. He was 76 years old. Ivan was born to his parents, Chas and Mabelle Belyea on Sept. 3, 1938 in Bloomfield Hills, MI.
He enlisted as a naval aviator in the U.S. Navy, where he rose to the ranks of Captain.
Ivan worked in his civilian life at Boeing, Lear Siegler, Flir Systems, and World Trax in the aviation technology industry.
He was passionate about flying and was a member of the Camas/Washougal Aviation Association. He was an Eagle Scout, a member of the Elks, and enjoyed square dancing, technology and computers, boating, sailing (and yes, there is a difference!), traveling and fishing in Key West.
Ivan was a 12-year resident of Clark County, WA and had lived all over the country.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Marion; daughters, Jo (husband Glenn) Doerrman and Jaclin Belabri; son, Jay Belyea; grandchildren, Charles, Elizabeth, Jaslin and Jaela; two sisters, Dawn (Dick) Ridley and Kaye Lou (Jerome) Spencer; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Ivan's life will take place on Mon., Jan. 19, 2015 at Brown's Funeral Home in Camas at 2:00 p.m.

Sorry to hear of Ivan's passing my thoughts and prayers to Marion and family have very fond memories of sewing conventions as one of his harem.

He was a kind and thoughtful person who was proud of his family unknown to many he was responsible for many success programs and enabled many people to successful employment. P-3 aircraft were a joy of his and he earned the respect of their operators.ivan will be in my prayers which I'm sure he doesn't need .
