HOWARD ROBAN
July 11, 1937 ~ July 9, 2017
"His laughter was contagious and he was
an amazing father and grandfather."
Howard "Slim" Roban, 79, passed away Sunday, July 9th, 2017 in his home in Vancouver, WA.
"Slim" was known for hunting, fishing, sharing authentic hillbilly jokes, watching sports every Sunday, listening to his 8-track tapes and spending time with his family. On a relaxed day, you could find him in his chair with his dog, drinking a glass of wine.
Howard is survived by his five children: Cynthia Lethert, Anita Lynch, James Roban, Timothy Roban and Lynn MacIntosh; twelve grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; his sister, Rita Zelgert; and his significant other, Elaine Cavaness and her family.
His memorial service with be held at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, July 22nd, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. Reception to follow.
In lieu of flowers, please feel free to donate to the Vancouver Humane Society in his memory.
