HOMER JAMES IREDALE
August 22, 1920 ~ March 14, 2011
Homer James Iredale passed away in Vancouver, Washington at the age the of 90 years.
He was born in Nyssa, Oregon to Albert James Iredale and Georgia (Evans) Iredale.
During WWII, he served in the United States Navy, spending most of his time in the South Pacific.
He is a graduate of the University of Oregon. Upon his graduation, he entered the retail trade business where he spent most of his working career.
He was a hard working, loyal and loving man who was an avid gardener, cook and outdoorsman.
Survivors include his wife, Jane, of Vancouver; daughter Louise Farrar-Wegener and husband, Mike of Tigard, OR; son Hugh Iredale and wife, Ruth of Sequim, WA; son, Bruce Iredale of Tigard, OR; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
His life will be celebrated with a memorial service at Willamette Cemetery at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 23, 2011.
