HAROLD E. MESSLER

Harold E. Messler, 87, Vancouver, WA, passed away May 16, 2011. He was born in Yakima, WA on Nov. 16, 1923.
Harold retired as a Major from the U.S. Air Force.
He was a chief paint chemist at Miller Paint Co. for 30 years.
Harold enjoyed hunting, fishing, and traveled extensively abroad.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley; daughter, Shelly Ridenour; sister, Elta Ball; grandchildren, Noelle Al-Musaifry and Logan Ridenour.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Debra; and son, Brent.
A memorial service will be held at 12:30 p.m., Mon., May 23, 2011 at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.

Hal had a huge heart and is a perfect example of a life well-lived. I was very lucky to have known him.
