GLEN GORDON JOHNSTON

who touched so many lives."
Glen Gordon Johnston of Ridgefield, WA, passed away Feb. 9, 2018 after a 2-year battle with cancer. Born July 10, 1943 in Portland, OR to Marilyn and Herbert Johnston, he graduated from Hudson's Bay High School in 1961.
Glen served in the US Navy from 1964-68 as an E5 Radar Man with top clearance during the Vietnam war.
He retired as V.P. Financial Planner & Trainer from Lincoln Financial Group, after 35 years, in 2003.
Glen was an avid fisherman and a dedicated member of the Coastal Conservation Assoc. (CCA) of Vancouver where he worked tirelessly at raising funds to save the fish. He loved playing golf, especially with his grandkids, fishing in Mexico, and was a competitive racquetball player in younger times.
Glen had a generous heart and was loved by all.
His fun sense of humor continued up to the
end and he will be greatly missed!
Glen is survived by his wife, Judy, of 33 years; three daughters and sons-in-law, Tammi and Dave, Staci and Mitch and Kelli and Phil; five amazing grandchildren; and his brother, Gerald and wife Diane.
Graveside funeral service is Fri., March 2, 2018 at 12:30 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, reception following. Celebration of life to be announced.

Thank you Glen for making my world a nicer place to live in. While you often told me I was your gift from God, I truly believe it was the other way around. My heartfelt sympathy to Judy and all your loved ones.
