GEORGE ROBERT WILLIS
March 21, 1925 ~ April 27, 2017

George Robert Willis, 92, of Camas, WA, passed away April 27, 2017. He was born and raised in St. Louis, MO, the only child of George and Florence Willis.
He enlisted into the army in 1943 during WWII and spent the next three years in France, Germany and Austria.
George married his loving wife Jane in 1949 and raised three children, Barbara, Michael and Robert, traveling all across the United States working for Crown Zellerbach Corporation as a Field Engineer. His final stop was the Camas mill in 1973, where he retired in 1983 and spent the next 20 years traveling the world with Jane and their many friends.
George is survived by his loving companion, Margaret Daugherty; children, Barbara Baisley (Dan) and Michael Willis (Diane); grandchildren, Brandon Giovanni, Michael Willis and Corinne Willis; and great-grandchildren, Michael, Taylor, and twins, Jared and Jayden Giovanni.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Jane (nee Schwab) Willis; and their son, Robert Willis.
