ELIZABETH "BETTY" P. GRANGE
June 17, 1925 ~ April 25, 2015

Elizabeth Pearl Hall Grange, 89, of Vancouver, WA, passed away April 25, 2015, seven weeks before her 90th birthday. She was born in Nephi, UT, on June 17, 1925, and graduated from high school in 1943.
Betty joined the Cadet Nurse Corps during World War II and met 2nd Lt. James Grange in Madigan Hospital at Fort Lewis. They were married for 63 years and always lived in Vancouver. She was an RN at the Alcoa Aluminum plant and St. Joseph's Hospital.
Betty was best known as a faithful member
of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
and a loving, devoted wife, mother, grandmother,
and great-grandmother.
She loved being with her large family, sleepovers with her granddaughters, genealogy, raising raspberries, quilting, knitting, crossword puzzles, and watching BYU sports.
Betty is survived by her five children: MaryAnne Ross (Yelm), Nancy Mahuika (Vancouver), John (Denver), Jeff (Vancouver), and Tom (Vancouver); 22 grandchildren; and 47 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jim; a grandson and a great-grandson.
A viewing will be Sat., May 2nd, 10-11 a.m. at the Evergreen Memorial Funeral Home. Graveside and burial will follow at 11:30 a.m. in the Garden of Prayer. The funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 7101 NE 166th Ave., Vancouver, WA 98682.
