Elizabeth Spoon Obituary

ELIZABETH "LISA" ANN (MACH) SPOON
May 2, 1964 ~ November 5, 2015
"Lisa was a loving wife and mother, an outstanding chef, and had a great memory."

Elizabeth "Lisa" Ann (Mach) Spoon, 51, of Vancouver, WA, peacefully left this world on Nov. 5, 2015. She was born on May 2, 1964 to Andrew and Viola Mach. She attended St. Mary's Academy in Portland, OR and graduated from Willamette University in Salem, OR with a BA degree.
Lisa married William "Wally" Spoon on Sept. 18, 1992. She truly loved her husband and they had three children.
She was a membership administrator for nine years at Regence Blue Cross Blue Shield of Oregon.
Lisa enjoyed cooking, being a part of her children's sporting events and watching football. Her favorite teams were the Baltimore Ravens and the Seattle Seahawks. She also enjoyed watching softball with her two daughters.
Lisa is survived by her husband, Wally; children, William, Allyson, and Danielle; mother, Viola Mach-Sullivan; step-father, "Sully"; brother, Christopher Mach; sister-in-law, Lisa; niece, Sophia; nephew, Alex; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Special thanks to the Ray Hickey Hospice House and Compass Oncology.
A funeral Mass will be held on Tues., Nov. 24th at 11:00 a.m. at St. Johns Catholic Church with a graveside service to follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens. Lisa's favorite color was purple, the family suggests wearing purple at the services. Afterwards, there will be a pot luck at the Spoon family home.
Donations and contributions can go to Trillium-Perry Center for Children and Catholic Community Service.

Lisa was a very special person. My heart goes out to the family. She was caring and a friend to my son. I know she liked Santa Clauses and whenever I see one I think of her. She has been welcomed into heaven and her memory will always be with us.

Lisa always put others before herself. I was blessed to have known her the past nine years. We talked, laughed, argued, cried and I will cherish every moment. My favorite memory of her was having application keying wars when we worked on the weekends to see who could key the most apps. I will miss her so very much. Rest with the Angels Lisa!

Such a kind and wonderful person. My heart breaks for your family. Always asked about others even when she wasn't well. Rest in peace now my friend.
