Earl Eugene Berry died April 5, 2017. He was born August 23, 1924.
Earl was preceded in death by his wife, Laura; father, Gerald; mother, Myrtle; step-mother, Ruth; and daughter-in-law, Alice.
He is survived by his brother, Emerald Albert and his sister-in-law, Pearl; six sons, Mel, Kent (wife Rosemary), Dave, Cliff (wife Georgie), Howard and Jeff (wife Vicky). He had many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and even a few great-great-grandchildren.
Earl was a WWII US Navel Veteran, a diesel mechanic and was the owner of Carter Berry Trucks and Berry Truck Service.
In his spare time and after retirement, he belonged to the Fort Vancouver Antique Equipment Association and the Mt. Hood Rock Club. In his retired years, he worked on antique farming equipment and brought them back to life. In the winter, he and Laura would snowbird in Arizona and rock hound the winter away.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Lewisville Cemetery, 26515 NE Lewisville Hwy, Battle Ground, WA 98604. There will be no viewing.
Earl's Life Celebration will be held on Sat., April 15th at 11:00 a.m. at Schurman's Ranch in Marcella's Pavilion located at 23100 NE 10th Ave., Ridgefield, WA 98642. All friends and family are welcome to come.
Earl lived a long rich life filled with love, family,
friendship and laughter.
