DOROTHA A. CHRISTENSEN
July 6, 1918 ~ December 14, 2014
"She was the greatest mom and grandma
and will truly be missed by all of us."
Dorotha passed away on Sun., Dec. 14, 2014, at the age of 96. She was born July 6, 1918 in Hinsdale, MT.
Dorotha married her best friend, Earl Christensen in Sept. 1936 in Glasglow, MT and they soon moved to Southwest Washington where they started their own dairy farm. During this time, Dorotha raised their children, took care of the livestock, tended the garden and worked as a professional seamstress. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, knitting, and generally making items for family and friends.
Dorotha is survived by her sister, Mable Johnson of Shoshone, ID; her daughter, Carol Clark (Darrel) of Vancouver, WA; sons, Doug (Darlene) and Randy (Patt), all of Vancouver; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be on Mon., Dec. 22, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
