DORENE (BACKSTROM) RIGHTENOUR

grandmother, and great-grandmother."
Dorene Rightenour, 84, of Vancouver, WA, lost her struggle with Alzheimer's on April 19, 2014. She was born in Kulm, ND to Victor and Tina Backstrom.
Dorene was a cafiteria manager for the Vancouver School District and retired after many years.
She loved to camp, bake, do crafts, go to 55+ Group every week, but most of all, she loved her family.
Dorene is survived by her husband, James Rightenour, daughters, Karen Thomas and Linda Wilson; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death of her parents; three brothers; and three sisters.
A funeral service will be held at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Sat., April 26, 2014 at 3:00 p.m.
Contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the Alzheimer's Association.
