1934 ~ 2017

Don Sproul, 83, of Brush Prairie, WA, went to be with the Lord on June 29, 2017. Born May 22, 1934, to Henry and Viola Sproul in Goldendale, WA, he lived most of his life in Clark County. Don had 7 siblings and is survived by Dorothy, Edgar, and Virginia, and by all of his posterity.
After graduating from Cascade Union High School in Turner, OR, he served 3 years in the Army.
Don married Judy Thomas in 1961, and together they raised 3 children - Debbie Sharp (Norm), Glen and Doug (Jennifer); with 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
Don worked in machine shops in the area, and retired from Columbia Machine in 1999.
He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, and he loved the Lord and his church family. Don had a special love for children, and worked for many years in the Sunday School at church.
He was an avid fisherman, played and refereed basketball for many years, played and umpired softball, and was a bowler. Don enjoyed camping and having reunions with his large, extended family.
A memorial service for Don will be held on Friday, July 14th at 2p.m., at Glenwood Community Church, 12201 NE 72nd Ave., Vancouver, WA, 98686.
