DONALD L. ROARK

Donald L. Roark, 47, of Vancouver, WA, died suddenly March 29, 2011 at his home. He was born Nov. 27, 1963 in Baton Rouge, LA to Billie and Mary Roark. Donald moved to Vancouver as a young child with his family in 1969 and he graduated from Columbia River High School.
He worked as a mill operator at Ashgrove Cement in Oregon and in his spare time he went fishing and hunting.
Donald is survived by his wife, Connie Roark; mother, Mary Carter; step-son, Aaron Townsend; siblings, Gary Roark and Kathryn Dopp; and his furry children, Brody, Brittney, Rebel, Kody and Zoe.
He was preceded in death by his father, Billie Roark; and brother, Glen Roark.
A memorial service for Donald will be held 3:00 p.m., Wed., April 6, 2011 at Amazing Grace Baptist Church, 6902 Hazel Dell Ave., Vancouver, WA.
Memorial donations are appreciated to the American Heart Association or the ASPCA.

Love you so much, thank you for all the time and calls you were there for me when I needed family so bad. Thank you for being there. I will miss you forever Uncle Don.
PS I will never forget when you were hosing all the kids down when I was three or four and you mercifully let me hide behind you because I was afraid of the hose. Love you!!!

My uncle Donny was a great man, we will all miss him tons. Love ya man. See ya on the other side one day. Just watch man, this year we will get all them elk you chased last year. :)

We were very glad to have meet you up on the mountian, we were proud to say that you were our friend, we will miss your smile and determation, we will always remember you tuffing it out with the cast on your foot.
