Donald J. Brown, 39, of Orchards, WA, passed away Sunday, Feb. 4, 2007. He was born April 16, 1967, in Portland, OR and was raised in Gresham, OR, graduating from Gresham High School in 1985. Don was a loving and devoted father to his greatest love- his son, Dustin, and deeply loved by all his family members. Since 2001, Don worked as an engineer for Frito-Lay in Vancouver, and before that, as a commercial fisherman in Alaska. Don is survived by his son, Dustin; father, Donald H. Brown and his wife, Pam, of Gresham; mother, Pat Kuiper and her husband, Dick, of Las Vegas, NV; grandparents, Harold and Leona Spohr of Woodburn, OR; sister, Darcy Clift, and her fiancée, Troy Hesselgesser, of Clackamas, OR and her daughter, Kaileen; as well as numerous other members of Don's extended family. Don will be deeply missed forever. His zest for life, kindness, generosity enriched the lives of all those lucky enough to have crossed his path. Services will be held at 2:00pm, Sunday, Feb 11, 2007, at Bateman Carroll Funeral Home, 520 W. Powell, Gresham, OR.
