DELORES "DEE" (BUNN) LOWRY
February 20,1934 ~ May 9, 2015
Dee passed away at home after a long courageous battle with cancer. She was born and raised in the Portland area. Dee was the eldest of all her siblings, four brothers: Mike, Jerry, Marcus and Brian and one sister, Rachel. She was preceded in death by her parents, Marion Lee Bunn and Edna Hazel Price. Also by her loving husband, Howard Lowry. Delores has 5 children all surviving: Dennis, Denise, Patrick, Sandra and Steven. 12 Grandchildren, 12 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great-Grandchild. Delores was loved by many, and often described as graceful, classy, caring, loving and compassionate. After retiring, Dee was able to do so many things she loved, most of which included spending time with all her grandkids, time in her yard, and sharing all her knowledge of gardening and sewing with those grandkids, an avid reader, accomplished cook, a weakness for newborn babies. So strong, so courageous, she will be missed by all. Many thanks to all family and friends for much support. Memorial in Dee's honor, celebration of life T.B.D. at a later date.

We had the pleasure of living across the street from her since I first purchased our home in 2005. She was a great neighbor and friend. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family.

Grandma Dee was the greatest and best grandmother a grand kid could ever hope for. Memories as a child spent with her are locked in my memory and she will never be forgotten. Rest in peace Grandma. Xoxox

I had the pleasure of working with Dee at Fred Meyer. She was always cheerful, smiling, upbeat. She had a great work ethic and always was busy. And yes, she was a classy lady.
