DECLAN F. REAGAN
March 28, 2012 ~ May 25, 2018
"Declan had an adorable smile
and an infectious giggle."
Declan F. Reagan, known to many as Declan the Dinosaur, died on May 25, 2018 in Vancouver, WA at age 6.
D, as he was affectionately called, was an adventurous child. He traveled to Japan, Hawaii, and anywhere his imagination took him and his twin brother, Adrian. D was so full of love and kind hearted that he refused to retaliate against his brother even when he was given permission to. Declan's love of dinosaurs had no limits. He shared that love with everyone, often correcting medical staff on proper dinosaur names. He aspired to be a paleontologist when he grew up; he wanted to "dig up dinosaur bones". As a member of the community, he excelled at advocacy with the establishment of his own foundation to help others within the pediatric cancer community.
Declan leaves his devoted parents, Francis and Lauren Reagan; and his best friend and brother, Adrian.
Join Declan's celebration on June 9th, 2018, 11a.m., at NorthWest Gospel Church, 305 NE 192nd Ave., Vancouver, WA 98684.

Dear Declan :) Thank you for inspiring so many people to join the marrow donor registry. Every donor drive (Party) was successful because of you. Many people will have a second chance at life because you brought them closer to our mission. Love you always, Magda, be the match

In a land before time or perhaps in a Jurassic World, Dinosaurs roamed freely, with no sickness or pain.... They stormed their land with great courage, bravery & strength. Declan the dinosaur was the strongest of them all. He was an inspiration to all of us. We love him & will miss him so very much. Now that Declan has went back to the land before time or perhaps a Jurassic World, he has left dinosaur prints on all our hearts

Lauren, Francis and Adrian, may you find peace and comfort during this difficult time.
Little Dino, you have made such an impact on everyone who knew you and those that followed your story. You and your family fought a great fight, and through it all, you continued to give back. Because of this, you were all an inspiration and loved by so many.
I am blessed to have spent time with Declan and his brother when they were babies, and thankful that I got to see Declan one last time this past winter.
Declan, your charismatic smile will be missed, but you will not be forgotten. Heaven gained another angel too soon, please watch over your family.

Declan, you had the courage of a lion who's fierceness for life shone like a beacon of light. That beacon of light drew all close to you. Your love of life, family and friends were drawn into that light with you. Now that light is dimmer but still shines with your memory and the lives you touched. I know that I am a better person having followed your story. RIP little Dino God-needed you more than us.

My heart breaks for your family. I know Declan was very much loved by our staff at Bloodworks. Our team often wears the Declan t-shirts when they go out on blood drives. Thank you for advocating for blood, platelet and plasma donors. It makes all of us proud to do the work we do to help people in need like Declan. We are blessed to have known this special child. All of our love and support from the Bloodworks NW family

You're strength and perseverance inspired many, but touched me deeply. Words cannot express the feelings I have with your passing Declan... There is much sadness from losing you, but also a sense of relief and happiness that you are finally free from your pain. Though we only had a short time with you; your impact on this world, and more importantly, our community, will be everlasting.
Keep an eye on us from the halls of Valhalla little warrior. Steer us straight thru the stormy days we face ahead.
Rest in piece brave Drengr!
