I am not sure exactly how the Browns and the Huffs connected with each other in the mid to late 1960 time frame. It could have be through the Grange where we obtained insurance through Colin's father, or it could have been through working together in Portland at Pacific NW Bell. No matter, the Browns moved away from Vancouver in the late 70s, but the connection has always been there. Annual Christmas cards, occasional phone calls, and an occasional drop in to visit once in a while. Colin's easy going spirit will be missed.

Colin and I spend many hour discussing insurance issues and problems. We were also a part of an old school brotherhood of owner owned agencies. Our customers were part of us. We treated them with respect and worked for them in resolving their insurance needs.
I will miss Colin's occasional calls to catch up with what was going on. My deepest sympathy for the two I knew the closest to Colin, Alice and Becky. I know you and the rest of your family will miss Colin a lot.

Colin was the one who got us interested in cruising. We enjoyed several cruises with him and Alice over the years. We shared many happy and sad times together. We also shared many cat stories with each other. We will certainly miss his smile and knowledge on cruising and many other things. He will be truly missed.

Colin was my cousin and we shared many things and moments, mostly when we were much younger, but we have always stayed in touch through the years. I was with him and the family when he drew his final breath. That's quite an eye opener. Life is so precious and short. Colin is in a much better place now with his creator and free of any pain. He fought the dredded cancer disease for over 10 years, but always had a smile in his heart about the future and was grateful for what he had. He will be missed by many.
God bless you Colin and your whole family.

Colin was my cousin. I am so sorry he lost his cancer battle but glad he had 10+ years of quality life after his first diagnosis. He called every now and then to chat and to make sure we stayed in touch. That was much appreciated. I'm sure he will be missed by many.

I shared more than one fine conversation with Colin over the years. While working for a fellow insurance agent, Colin would call me when I was by myself in the office to make sure I was doing ok. Always ready to check in and give a hand if I needed it. After my retirement we still kept in touch over the phone. I always enjoyed our friendly conversations. A very kind and considerate person and he will be greatly missed.

Our sympathy to the whole family. Colin was such a "presence" on Wildwood - - - including one 4th of July as sparks started a fire in evergreen bushes close to a wooden fence; Colin grabbed a hose and "saved the day". As we were out of town - - -he called us later. His kindness and more was much appreciated over those years as neighbors. Rest in peace, Dear Friend.
