CECELIA ROSE (KEMP) CHRISTENSEN
March 31, 1918 ~ January 8, 2018
Cecelia Rose (Kemp) Christensen passed away peacefully January 8, 2018 at the age of 99 years old. She was born March 31, 1918 in Portland, OR to Jim and Carrie Kemp. Cecelia was affectionately known as CeCe and Ceili and spent most of her life living in Vancouver, WA.
Cecelia was preceded in death by her parents; eleven siblings; her husband, Elmer Christensen and her son, Ronald Christensen. She is survived by son, Walter (Jim) Christensen and daughter, Beverly Christensen (Adams) along with many Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. Cecelia was a devout Catholic and attended The Academy Cathedral School in Vancouver.
She was an amazing seamstress and worked many years sewing custom drapes and later worked at Jantzen Knitting Mills. She loved music, dancing and she loved to entertain. She was also an incredible baker. She was the best story teller and she had her mind intact until the end. Her family will cherish her memory as being strong, courageous, feisty and one who always put her family first.
Service will be held Thursday, January 18, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at St. John's Catholic Church, 8701 NE 119th Street, Vancouver, WA.

I'm going to miss laughing with you Cece, you still knew how to enjoy life and have a little fun. While I only knew you for a short time, I am going to miss you. May God give your family strength, God bless.
