Barbara Fuller Obituary

BARBARA "BARB" JEAN FULLER
March 3, 1936 ~ December 23, 2014

Barb passed away of kidney failure at Ricky Hospice on the afternoon of December 23, 2014. Barb was born in Wapato, WA, March 3, 1936 to Leonard and Fern (Olsen) Stuber. She was born an independent spirit, which would show up unexpectedly from time to time.
Born on a farm, good in school, she headed for the big city right after graduation. She worked for PP&L and had roommates for 5 years. She met her beloved husband, Ron, and never looked back.
After raising her family, that independent spirit showed up again when she started studying Japanese. This lead to Japan where she traveled alone. Her next project was tap dancing. She performed with the Oxford Tap Dance Team at venues around SW Washington well into her 60's.
She traveled every chance she got. If you said "Should we?", we were on our way.
Barb and Ron spent the winters in Arizona and the rest of the year at the beach or glued to a bleacher seat somewhere watching their grandchildren grow.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother Richard; grandson Dillon and her loving husband, Ron.
She is survived by her two children: son Neal and daughter Jill Quigley (Todd); grandchildren Alec and Emily Fuller and Austin Quigley; sister Marilyn Britton and niece Lena; sister-in-law Farralee and many, many, many friends.
On March 28, 2015, at 12 noon, family and friends are invited to join us at the beach to scatter her ashes.
A special thanks to Highgate Assisted Living for their loving care and all you have done for us, the family. Also, thanks to Ricky Hospice.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Good Samaritan Kidney Transplant Clinic in her behalf, would be appreciated.

Such good memories of the many New Year's celebrations at the beach, 'girls' shopping and 'boys' watching the bowl games, always the Huskies. Many years of friendship with Barb and Ron, we do miss them.

I have the best memories of Thanksgiving dinner with Aunt Barbara, shopping for antiques and going to the Oxford club. Mostly though, spending afternoons around her kitchen table talking. I miss her.
