She was loving and kind, truly an inspiration to all
who knew her, and will be greatly missed."

Anna Marie died peacefully on August 16th surrounded by her loving family at age 48 of a glioblastoma brain tumor. She was able to spend her last days in the company of her family and share some meaningful moments with all of them. Besides the family members, many of her closest friends and coworkers were able to say goodbye as well. Anna Marie was born Nov. 9, 1965 in Portland, OR, the oldest child of Mary Rose and Glenn Kerg. She graduated Central Catholic High School, Portland State and ITT.
In 1992, she married Phil Hurley.
Anna Marie was a successful career woman and worked at her dream job in the geospatial services of the Bonneville Power Administration.
She was a member of the All-Ireland Cultural Society, a soccer mom, and a very talented artist.
In addition to her husband, Phil, Anna Marie is survived by her daughters, Danielle and Molly Rose Hurley and Josi Brennan; mother, Mary Rose Kerg; sisters, Sheila Kerg, Eileen Barrett (Sean) and Kathleen Kerg; brother, Brendan Kerg (Kimberly); and innumerable nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held for Anna Marie Hurley at 10:00 a.m., Thurs., Aug. 21 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 17010 NE 9th St., Vancouver, WA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ray Hickey Hospice House at PeaceHealth Hospice SW or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
