ANITA NESMITH MOODY
July 25, 1917 ~ September 13, 2017
Anita Nesmith Moody passed away peacefully at Glenwood Retirement in Vancouver, WA, where she had resided for the past 12 years. Anita celebrated her 100th birthday in July surrounded by numerous friends, family and many Glenwood staff and residents. Anita was much loved by everyone who knew her.
Anita was the quintessential pastor's wife. Her late husband the Reverend Dr. Raymond w Moody was the pastor of churches in Oklahoma City, Spokane and Woodland, WA. Anita gave selflessly to the church and church community. The role suited her well as she was outgoing and social. Anita lived her life for Christ and stayed active in the church up until her death.
Anita was preceded in death by her son, Robert; her husband, Dr. Raymond Moody; and her granddaughter, Judy Haines.
She is survived by her daughter, Louise Wolsey of Vancouver, WA.
In lieu of flowers, Anita has requested that donations be made to First Presbyterian Church in Vancouver.
A service for Anita will be held on Fri., Oct. 6, at 2:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church chapel at 4300 Main St., Vancouver, WA 98663.

Dearest Louise,
So sorry to hear about the passing of your mom. She was indeed a grand lady and fully lived her life. I so enjoyed hearing "Anita" stories you shared and was so glad I got to meet her. You are a lucky woman to have her for your mom and were able to enjoy her company for so many years. Love and hugs to you and your family, Donna
