Alie was born on January 30, 1930 in Delft, The Netherlands to Hendrik and Maria van Maren. She passed away in her home on April 11, 2014 surrounded by family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Alexander (Lex) Lamet who passed away on September 26th, 2013.
She is survived by her three children, Peter, Marianne Michaud and Marcel; as well as by her eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and her sister, Nellie Groeneveld.
