Betty Snyder Obituary


BETTY FAITH (MOORE) SNYDER
February 14, 1926 ~ December 3,2015

Betty Faith Snyder passed away with the love of all her family at her side on Dec. 3, 2015. Betty was born Faith Valentine on Feb. 14, 1926 in Upland, CA and earned a degree in Nursing and a Master's in Education. She was head nurse at Chicago General Hospital. Relocating to La Jolla, CA and was a member of La Jolla Pres. Betty was the school nurse for Poway High from 1967-1982, joining DODDS as the school nurse at Berlin American High School from 1984-1994, witnessing the fall of the Berlin wall, traveling throughout Eastern and Western Europe the UK, Africa, Israel and Egypt. Betty settled in Vancouver, WA and was a member of Liberty Bible Nazarene Church whose fellowship in 10/2002 celebrated the life of her husband Roy at his passing, preceding his beloved Betty to their Father's heavenly home.
She is survived by her daughter, Faith McClelland; son, Bill (wife Kristi) Snyder, grandsons, Isaiah, Noah and Micaiah Snyder; daughter, Irene (husband Michael) Bubnack, grandson, Ryan and granddaughter, Katelynn Bubnack; nieces, Katie Mahler and Barbara (husband Pat) Patterson.
A memorial service will be held Sun., Dec. 13, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Garden.
Memorial donations may be made to Open House Ministries (Vancouver, WA), Jews for Jesus, and the USD Relay For Life.
