Wayne G. Conly

April 3, 1957 ~ February 25, 2014

Wayne G. Conly, 56, of Vancouver, WA, beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, and grandfather, passed away at home surrounded by his family after losing his two month battle with cancer on February 25th, 2014 in Brush Prairie.

Wayne was born in Flint, Michigan to William E. Conly and Marietta E. Stuart Conly on April 3rd, 1957. He went to school at LaSalle High School. He married Penny L. Conly on February 14th, 1996 in Vancouver, Washington. He worked as an Ironworker out of Ironworkers Local #29 in Portland, OR and Ironworkers Local #14 in Spokane, WA. He worked as a Foreman at the Hanford VIT Plant for Bechtel International Inc. of Richland, WA from 2008-2014. He was a veteran and served in the Army. Wayne is preceded in death by his father, William E. Conly; and his mother, Marietta E. Stuart Conly Larson.

Wayne enjoyed hunting for deer and elk, snowmobiling, watching westerns, and was always available to lend a hand to those who needed his help.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Penny L. Conly; daughter, Rachel Conly; step-children, Amy Archuleta and Elisiah Archuleta; brothers, Bill Conly, Dean Conly and Paul Larson; sister, Belinda Tofte; granddaughter, Emma Stonbaugh; and grandson, Caleb Archuleta.

Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of life at the home of Wayne's sister, Belinda Tofte, on Saturday, March 8, 2014 from 1:00-4:00 p.m.
