I am saddened by the news of Rory's passing. I grew up in Forks with Rory. We were best friends as kids. Fishing, riding motorcycles, horses, go carts, etc, truly Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn. We were able to stay in contact for a few years after he moved from Forks. Even though we lost touch, I've always remembered the strength and incredible spirit he had. Those childhood memories will be with me forever. God bless you and you family Rory. You have been and will be missed.

I knew Rory as we grew up together in Forks until he moved in 1982. We never really stayed in touch but he had a way of suddenly just appearing here for a visit. I wish we would have stayed in touch better. He will be missed. My thoughts go out to his family. Rest in Peace my good Friend

Ken and Suzanne,
I knew Rory through Jim M. (attorney) at the office in Vancouver. I was so deeply saddened to hear of his passing. Your pain is my pain. I know what the loss of a son means to a mom and how it feels. I lost my 24 year old son one year ago today and I feel such sadness for you because I know the great sadness. I know Rory was very special. Try to remember the positive happy times and wonderful traits that you remember about your son. My prayers are with you...

For the roses that I gather...
For the thorns their stems contain.
Thanks for both dear Heavenly Father,
Though the thorns have brought me pain.
