George Henry Dobson, Jr., 87, of Vancouver, WA, passed away Feb. 11, 2014. He was born Aug. 3, 1926 in Nelma, WI to Agnes M. (DeRousha) and George H. Dobson, Sr..
With an elementary school education, George served in WWII from 1944-1947 and earned a Bronze Service Star.
He was a member of the Aluminum Workers Local 300 while at Alcoa and retired from Aluminum Co. of America.
He enjoyed computer games and building things.
George is survived by his wife, Priscilla; children: Daniel, Candace, Theresa and Sandra; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister; and three brothers.
George will be inurned at the Willamette National Cemetery in Portland, OR, Mon., March 31, 2014 at 1:00.
