EVELYN DOHERTY
August 22, 1922 ~ July 20, 2017
Evelyn Doherty passed away peacefully on July 20, 2017.
Her husband Frank Doherty, her mother Grace Hack, father Oli Solume, and brother Paul preceded her in death.
Evelyn worked at Boeing as a riveter during WWII and in the 1950's she owned The Keen Teen Shop downtown Camas, WA. She also worked for state senator George Murphy.
Frank and Evelyn owned Skye Tree Farm on the Doherty Homestead established 1884, and enjoyed the many years of harvesting and selling Christmas Trees.
Evelyn enjoyed working in her yard, walking, and taking trips.
She is survived by her sister, Marg Wysaski; daughters, Conni Doherty and Barbara McDonald; son, Dale Doherty; grandchildren, Angie Hyde (Donny), LeeAnn McDonald, Shonn Schmid, Darren Schmid, Jennifer Purkeypyle (Scott), and Frank Doherty.
