DOUGLAS A. JULIAN
September 10, 1938 ~ March 14, 2013

Douglas A. Julian born in Longview, WA September 10,1938, passed away March 14, 2013 from lung cancer. He was the son of Gunnar and Katherine (Lowe) Julian from Kelso, WA and then in Vancouver, WA
Douglas attended Fort Vancouver High School, served in the US Navy 1955 to 1959 on the USS Yorktown. He was an Iron worker and retired from the Longshoremen's Union in 2004.
Douglas enjoyed hunting and fishing, he and his wife had a cabin at the Long Beach peninsula, where they enjoyed clam digging, fishing and playing cards with family and friends. He was a Moose member and Eagle member. Douglas had a special sense of humor and a big heart. He will truly be missed.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years Patricia Julian; son Jon Julian and wife Samantha; grandchildren, Derek and Brandon; siblings, Dale Julian, Dianne Sadewasser, Dawn Julian-Boyd and several nieces and nephews.
There will be a memorial gathering at the Boyd Julian Ranch on March 17, 2013 from 12 to 5 p.m. located at 29414 NE 82nd Ave, Battle Ground, WA 98604. Please call 360-667-0390 for directions.
